Kaiju No. 8 The Game Adds Playable 5-Star Christmas Kikoru and New Raid Battle Event

Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME has another new festive update that we are excited to announce: 5-star Kikoru Shinomiya in a Santa suit, who appears in the currently available Main Story Chapter 6. She is finally a playable character, ready to bring the Christmas spirit! Mastering recovery skills and damage buffs, she excels as a Defender, supporting her squad with holiday cheer. In addition to Kikoru, you can also obtain her Ax-Xmas 25 weapon, which perfectly matches her outfit.

The Main Story Chapter 6 features Kikoru in a Santa outfit; however, unlike the motivated Gen Narumi, she isn't too keen to participate in the Christmas festivities. Her behaviour seems to be deeply linked to a memory that is tied to Christmas.

This version of Kikoru is a Defender instead of an Attacker; like other versions of her character in the game, she specializes entirely in protecting allies. With her Combat Skills and Ultimate Skill, she can provide support such as HP recovery for allies, buff application, and debuff removal.

Another addition to her character, by acquiring an additional passive skill through levelling up, she gains the ability to revive a single fallen ally. This allows her to support the squad with an even stronger defence.

Additionally, a new Raid Battle has been added with Kaiju No. 10 (Giant Form). In these raid battles, all players will have to work together to take down the Kaiju. Challenge the Kaiju to progress along the Raid Battle Missions and earn rewards! This event is scheduled to begin on December 22 (JST, UTC+9)! So get stuck in and defeat those Kaijus!
