Kaiju No. 8 Game Adds Haruichi Izumo as a 5-Star Bow User in the New Main Story

Kaiju No. 8 THE GAME has revealed a new main story, a debut of Haruichi Izumo as the game's first bow user, a new mini-event, and another reward campaign. To celebrate this release, players are able to earn up to 1,500 Dimensional Crystals and other rewards through gameplay and score-based challenges.

The new main story, titled "Chapter 10: Aptitude Test," also offers valuable items such as Dimensional Crystals and Stamina Jellies. The plot is described:

Young Defense Force recruits have gathered at the Ariake Maritime Base. Their mission: an aptitude test for the CLOZER suit—specialized gear designed to combat Dimensional Kaiju.

Haruichi Izumo and Aoi Kaguragi face off in a grueling competition for the top spot. The true power of these young talents will be put to the test!

5-Star Haruichi Izumo (Calculated Choice) Enters the Battle

The new 5-star character Haruichi Izumo joins the kaiju battle, together with his new weapon AW-Kokyab (Bow), making him the first bow user in the game. The bow features minimal control-system assistance, allowing greater versatility. However, to master this weapon, the wearer must possess the resourcefulness to adapt to various combat situations.

Izumo was previously only available as a 4-star character.
