Junji Ito's Old Records Becomes Audiobook Featuring Poppy and Shoko Nakagawa; Vinyl Kickstarter Launched
Junji Ito's Old Records short-story manga now has an audio adaptation featuring Poppy (English version) and Shoko Nakagawa (Japanese version). A Kickstarter campaign for the physical, thematic vinyl edition has been launched, and it currently offers the following rewards:

"The Last Song of Paula Bell" can be included in each item with an additional $15 per pledge. The $750 signed edition includes the Blood Splatter Variant, Test Pressing, The Last Song of Paula Bell, Ghostly Blue Variant (signed By Poppy), Standard Vinyl, and Glow in the Dark Variant (signed by both Ito and Poppy).
Writer Ryan Cady adapted Ito's original story from 1998 for the audio format, while Acky Bright did the covers with Ito's handprints. Check out the promotional video featuring Junji Ito:

Poppy is an American singer who initially started her career with eccentric YouTube videos. In recent years, she has turned towards heavy metal and has collaborated with artists such as Bad Omens and Amy Lee.
Shoko Nakagawa is a Japanese singer, actress, and voice actress. She is known for performing the opening theme songs for the Gurren Lagan anime. Nakagawa is a huge fan of JoJo's Bizarre Adventure.
