Ironmouse Leaves VShojo
VTuber Ironmouse announced that she left her agency VShojo earlier today in an 11-minute YouTube video shared on her official channel. In the video, Ironmouse shared that she believes that she is owed funds and that VShojo owes Immune Deficiency Foundation over half a million USD. The video is titled "Why I left VShojo," and Ironmouse goes on to explain that she is unable to share all the details at the current time due to advice from her lawyer.
Ironmouse shared her story of battling common variable immunodeficiency and how the condition led her to streaming. She has been an active VTuber since 2017 and joined VShojo in 2020, as one of its founding members. She highlighted how she appreciated the anonymity and privacy protection VShojo has given her.
Ironmouse detailed how she raised the money with Connor (CDawgVA) for Immune Deficiency Foundation through subathons and other activities. This money was handled through Twitch, so she asked VShojo to make a donation on her behalf, but a year later, the money still hasn't been paid to the foundation.
She will continue her activities as an independent VTuber. All the funds from the video will be donated to the foundation and viewers can also donate directly.
Immune Deficiency Foundation supports people affected by primary immunodeficiencies by focusing on improving diagnosis, treatment, and quality of life.
In recent months, Geega, Zentreya, and Matara Kan have also left the VShojo agency.
