Inherit the Winds Reveals Trailer, January 2027 Debut

The Inherit the Winds original anime revealed a trailer alongside a January 2027 premiere date. The anime will have a theatrical screening in 2026.

As previously announced, Live2D Creative Studio and Drive are in charge of the animation. The staff includes:

  • Director: Tomohiro Kawamura
  • Screenwriter: Yutaka Narui
  • Original Story Cooperation: Azuki Mashiba
  • Character Design: Fumi Ebina
  • Music: Shigeru Kishida

The plot of the Inherit the Winds anime follows Jinsuke Tachikawa and the fleeting youth of Shinsengumi living in a turbulent era.
