I Lost My Adventurer's License, but It's Fine Because I Have an Adorable Daughter Now series is getting an anime adaptation. The news was revealed at today's GA FEST 2026 without information on the staff or cast.

The anime will adapt the light novel series written by Manimani Ononata and illustrated by Fuzichoco, serialized under SB Creative's GA Novel imprint. Lost My Adventurer's License, but It's Fine Because I Have an Adorable Daughter Now (Bokensha Raisensu o Hakudatsu Sareta Ossan da Kedo, Ai Musume ga Dekita no de Nonbiri Jinsei o Oka Suru) was originally published as a web novel on the Shosetsuka ni Naro website. A manga adaptation by Fumi Tadaura is ongoing on Square Enix's Manga Up! service.

Square Enix describes the plot of the manga as:
Douglas, once known as a legendary enhancement spellcaster, is now little more than your average, weak old man. On top of that, he was kicked out of the hero party, and eventually had his adventurer's license revoked... And that's how he ended up a vagabond, wandering aimlessly. After an encounter with Rabi, a cursed little girl, a new adventure begins...
