HoYoverse Announces Gamescom 2025 Lineup
HoYoverse officially announced the full lineup for Gamescon 2025, which will be happening from August 20 to 24 at the Koelnmesse in Cologne, Germany. Visitors can immerse themselves in a variety of entertaining and engaging activities with HoYoverse's beloved games, including Genshin Impact, Honkai: Star Rail, and Zenless Zone Zero. You can find HoYoverse in Hall 6, C031.
Genshin Impact's booth is themed with its recent event, "Song of the Welkin Moon." This area is designed for the traveller to immerse themselves in the world-premiere offline experience of Nod-Krai, which is the game's upcoming region. There will be exciting myths, secrets, and stories to be told. In addition, the exhibit will feature a recreated story scene, sections that will debut in the new storyline, and more surprises to be revealed about the new version.
Travelers can also participate in a variety of interactive activities and challenges, browse limited merchandise, and enjoy stage shows performed by popular bands and cosplayers. For the fans who are not at the event, they can tune into livestream programs produced by Rocket Beans TV, broadcasting directly from the event to viewers around the world.
Honkai Star Rail will add onto the event with its Version 3.4 update, that took gamers by storm on July 2. The Honkai Star Rail booth will invite Trailblazers to a space fantasy offline experience at Gamescom 2025. It will be designed with an Amphoreus theme, evoking memories of 'The Eternal Land," where the flame-chase adventure unfolded.
Mem, the pink, cute but mysterious companion who travels alongside the Trailblazer throughout Amphoreus, will also make an appearance at the booth as an impressive overhead sculpture. The Astral Express cute conductor, Pom-Pom, alongside a cast of skilled cosplayers, will also be at the booth to engage with visitors. There will be many fun activities to do, like designing your own chimera, quiz challenges with a life-sized recreation of the Verax Leo, and exploring and purchasing a wide range of merchandise.
Lastly, Zenless Zone Zero, the fantasy ARPG that recently celebrated its first anniversary, will join the fun by bringing an immersive experience inspired by Version 2.1's storyline and the unique styles of characters like Alice and Yuzuha. "Mystery Tales Investigation" is the theme of their booth, allowing Proxies to dive into the game's exciting gameplay while participating in an interactive on-site event as mystery investigators recruited by the Spook Shack.
Attendees will also need to collect Investigation Badges to enter the lucky draw and redeem lots of rewards, including Yuzuha's exclusive lucky charm. They can also take photos with cosplayers and browse the ZZZ Hub, the official merch pop-up that offers limited Zenless Zone Zero merchandise and prize activities.
