Honkai: Star Rail 3.6 Releases for Trailblazers on September 24

The highly anticipated 3.6 update will be hitting the accounts of Trailblazers of Honkai: Star Rail on September 24, 2025. "Back to Earth in Evernight" continues the story in Amphoreus with the addition of some familiar Astral Express Crew members, some in new forms! The game brings in banners for both new playable characters, Evernight and Dan Heng - Permansor Terrae, with the rerun of The Herta and Anaxa. The Trailblazers' mission is about to take a turn for the better or the worse.

During the first half of the patch, Evernight will feature on a banner. As a primary key figure in the current storyline, fans have been eager to know who exactly this mysterious version of the Astral Express's loveable March 7th could be. In terms of her gameplay, she is a 5-star ice character who follows the Path of Remembrance. Her memosprite, Evey, can be summoned to help Evernight gain "Memoria" (or damage increase that stacks) until the maximum stacks are reached and Evey's attack action is pushed to be immediate.

In comparison, the new form of Dan Heng, Dan Heng - Permansor Tarrae, puts him in a more supportive role where he takes further steps onto the Path of Permanence (Preservation) as a 5-star Physical character. This involves Dan Heng becoming "Bondmate" and summoning a Souldragon, which initially adds a stackable shield for the selected companion. The Souldragon will then act further to help with fixing debuffs on the ally and maintaining the shield, with the additional follow-up attack against all enemies (the strength being in line with the selected "Bondmate").

With this update, Trailblazers above level 3 will also be able to claim Dan Heng's new form for free at no cost for a limited time, joining Dr. Ratio and Fate collaboration Archer as one of the few characters players were able to grab for free during their runs. You will be able to claim this form of Dan Heng from the start of his banner (from October 15th) up until the end of Version 4.0, which currently hasn't got a release date.

Finally, this version introduces some new features and events, including the debut of the "Anomaly Arbitration" trial, where Trailblazers form 3 teams to complete stages to obtain the "Interference Key" alongside other rewards. There will also be two new events, "Nice Weather for Dromases" with the fun addition of raising and looking after dromas, the creatures native to Amphoreus, and "Colorful Mayhem," a combination of some previous minigames with a new twist.

Honkai Star Rail can be played on PC, iOS, Android, Epic Games Store, and PS5 and has continuously kept fans gripped with their immersive story and fun gameplay. Version 3.6 will be a pivotal point of the Amphoreus storyline as we assume a lot of lingering questions will start to get answered.
