Hololive and Koei Tecmo Announce Streaming-Focused Partnership
Koei Tecmo and Cover Corp announced on July 9 that the companies have reached a mutual agreement that will grant a pre-approval to Hololive talents to stream Koei Tecmo's games.
Some of the games included under the agreement are the Atelier Yumia series, Nioh, and Dynasty Warriors. In addition to the streaming benefits, there would be numerous promotional opportunities on both sides with the general increased visibility.

Hololive has been a leader in the growth of VTuber companies over the past few years, through numerous partnerships and collaborations with brands. One of the most recent was the Kura Sushi collab with Hololive EN, or the LA Dodgers collaboration night that happened at the beginning of this month.

By streamlining the process, these two companies have agreed on a more stable approach to the list of permissions that needed to be set beforehand. Having a pre-existing approval from Koei Tecmo simplifies the number of steps previously required to get permission to stream various games and minimizes the risk of takedowns and Copyright infringement.
