Hiromu Arakawa's Daemons of the Shadow Realm Gets TV Anime by Studio Bones Film
A TV anime adaptation of Hiromu Arakawa's Daemons of the Shadow Realm has been announced at Anime Expo 2025. The anime will be directed by Masahiro Ando at studio Bones Film (Fullmetal Alchemist: Brotherhood, My Hero Academia).
Noboru Takagi (Golden Kamuy) will write the series composition, with Nobuhiro Arai (Bungo Stray Dogs) on character designs. A release date was not announced; however, a teaser visual was released.

Daemons of the Shadow Realm is a supernatural action manga written and illustrated by the award-winning Hiromu Arakawa, creator of Fullmetal Alchemist. The manga has been published since December 2021 in Square Enix's Monthly Shounen Gangan magazine, and collected into nine volumes.
Square Enix licenses the manga in English, and they describe the series as follows:
In a world where certain humans command mighty supernatural duos called Daemons, it is the birthright of "the children who sunder day and night"—twins Yuru and Asa—to rule over these powerful entities. Separated from a young age and unaware of the truth of their birth, brother and sister must fight to make their way back to each other, claim their birthright, and save the world...
