Hatsune Miku Magical Mirai 2025 Announces Blu-Ray and DVD Release
After the conclusion of the 2025 run of Hatsune Miku "Magical Mirai", it has been announced that the final Tokyo show will be available on Blu-ray and DVD in 2026.
The performance includes everyone's favourite virtual idol, Hatsune Miku, alongside her Crypton Future Media Vocaloid partners, Kagamine Rin, Kagamine Len, Megurine Luka, MEIKO, and KAITO in celebration of the 13th iteration of the event. The show was held at the Makuhari Messe on August 31st, 2025 (with shows running from the 29th to the 31st), marking the 18th anniversary of Hatsune Miku's original voicebank release.
This year also marked the first time that the show was performed in Sendai, which took place at the Sendai Sun Plaza from August 1st to 3rd, which was then followed by the Osaka shows (INTEX OSAKA) from August 9th to 11th.
"Magical Mirai 2025" follows the theme of "Starry River in the Sky," with visuals designed by Tiv. These pieces of artwork will also be included in the release of the DVD, with the Limited Edition version coming in a deluxe case.
In addition to the case, the deluxe version will include a Polaroid photo card featuring the singers at the Sendai show, a special book, and the bonus discs featuring songs that weren't performed specifically on the final Tokyo night.
There will also be a "Focus on Singers" section on the bonus disc of footage of the performances that exclusively shows the virtual singer.
The product is set to release on February 4th, 2026, and will be priced as follows
- Limited Edition Blu-ray - 10,450 yen ($70.77)
- Standard Blu-ray - 6,930 yen ($46.93)
- Limited edition DVD - 9,350 yen ($63.32)
