Gundam Celebrates 45th Anniversary With Hatsune Miku Figures, Concert
To celebrate Gundam's 45th anniversary, Mobile Suit Gundam partnered with Hatsune Miku to announce a new collaboration featuring figures available for pre-order later this year.
First in line is the Lucrea Hatsune Miku x 00 Gundam figure, illustrated by lyx. The figure shows an adorable visage of Hatsune Miku surrounded by elements of the world from Mobile Suit Gundam 00, creating a truly memorable collector's item.

The next is the Lucrea Hatsune Miku x Wing Gundam EW, illustrated by neco, displaying a graceful Hatsune Miku decked out in an all white ensemble inspired by Gundam Wing: Endless Waltz.

RX-78-2 GUNDAM [MIKU Ver.] and MS-06S ZAKU II [MIKU Ver.] acryilic standees are also available, featuring Miku's colors. Available for pre-order until May 14:

As part of the anniversary celebration, live shows will also be available throughout the Gundam Metaverse, daily until May 19. The return of Hatsune Miku to the Gundam Metaverse features fan favourite songs: "Fly! Gundam," "Vampire," "Senbonzakura," "Flying in the Sky," "World is Mine," and "Just Communication." To access the limited-time event, fans can log into Gundam Metaverse and head to the live area main lobby, head to the entrance terminal, and press the associated keys to access the event.
It's not just the figures and the concert that have been released as part of the Gundam's 45th anniversary celebrations with Hatsune Miku that started on March 9. March 9, known by fans as both Miku Day (due to the play on words of “Mi” meaning a count of 3, and “Ku” meaning 9 in Japanese) and Zaku day named after a fan favourite Gundam suit (“Sa” meaning 3, and “Ku” meaning 9) bought together vocaloid and Gundam fans alike.

To commemorate the occasion, the collaboration kicked off a music video produced by Mitchie M starring Hatsune Miku within the Gundam verse, titled "Idol Senshi (feat. Hatsune Miku)” (Idol Warrior), special illustrations and artwork, and new products available for purchase later this year through Premium Bandai.
As part of the collaboration, special Gashapon rubber mascots were released in the first week of April. Each mascot featured Hatsune Miku looking stylish as part of the ongoing collaboration.
