Grand Blue Season 2 Episodes Leak Online

All episodes of the Grand Blue Dreaming Season 2 (also known as just Grand Blue) have been uploaded online in an illegal leak earlier today. The source for the leak is unknown at the moment, but it appears to have come from an online streaming service in Japan. Grand Blue Season 2 premiered yesterday; the first episode had an early screening on 14 June 2025 at United Cinemas Aqua City Odaiba in Tokyo.

Although this is not the first time unreleased episodes of seasonal anime have been illegally shared online before the actual air date in the recent years, it is quite rare for a full, finished season to be leaked in such manner and it raises the question of properly securing materials on both Japanese and English side of streaming business. Last year, several anime titles were leaked after Netflix's post-production partner was compromised and this came months after leaks originating from several conventions were also uploaded online before their debut. In these cases, even though DMCA takedowns were issued, they were too slow and essentially failed to keep the leaks from circulating.

Grand Blue Season 2 was announced in September of 2024. Zero-G and Liber are animating and the staff includes:

The anime is bassed on a manga written by Kenji Inoue and illustrated by Kimitake Yoshioka, serialized in Kodansha's good! Afternoon magazine since 2014. The first season of the adaptation premiered in 2014. It was animated by Zero-G and directed by Shinji Takamtsu.
