Genshin Impact to Launch Luna III Update on December 3

Genshin Impact announced that the new version, Luna III, will launch on December 3, 2025, bringing a new Archon Quest, two new playable characters (Durin and Jahoda), and some long-anticipated introductions. Overview of the "Luna III" content is as follows:

• New Archon Quest: Celebrate Moon-Prayer Night before Dameselette returns to the moon, with the unexpected arrival of Alice and Nicole from the Hexenzirkel.
• New Characters:
  • Durin, 5-star Pyro Sword wielder, a newborn dragon with two combat forms.
  • Jahoda, 4-star Anemo Bow wielder, team healer with skill to absorb.
• Hexerei Characters: Unlock new powers for Durin, Venti, Klee, Albedo, Mona, Razor, Fischl, and Sucrose, including new special abilities, constellation effect changes, and more.
• More Updates: A new winter-themed event with minigames, more interactions in Silvermoon Hall, and new echoes for Klee and Albedo.
• Miliastra Wonderland (UGC module): Launch new component-sharing platform “Wonderland Prefab Center” and more rewards.

The first phase banners will feature Durin and Venti, as well as Jahoda, while Xilonen and Citlali are returning in the second. Durin dual powers will boast dual powers: One reflects the pure soul of Simulanka, supporting the team by reducing enemies' Elemental Resistance and dealing AoE Pyro DMG. The other is imbued with Abyssal energy, excelling at unleashing devastating attacks on single targets and boosting his own Vaporize and Melt reaction DMG. Completing Durin's Story Quest will reveal more secrets about the dragon and Hexenzirkel, and gain a special reward for Durin.

Version Luna III also introduces a major update featuring "Hexerei characters," enhancing certain characters closely connected to the Hexenzirkel. By completing Alice's "Witch's Homework", Durin, Venti, Klee, Albedo, Mona, Razor, Fischl, and Sucrose can become Hexerei characters. Each quest unfolds a unique story for the respective character, granting them special abilities and changing their Constellation effects. Additionally, if the party has at least two Hexerei characters, "Hexerei: Secret Rite" effect will be unlocked, significantly boosting the party's combat capabilities.
