Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Season 2 Reveals Key Visual and January 16 Premiere Date

Frieren: Beyond Journey’s End Season 2 has announced that it will premiere on January 16, 2026 JST. A new key visual, featuring Frieren, Fern, and Stark, was also revealed.

In addition, the new staff members were also announced. Tomoya Kitagawa is directing the sequel, with Daiki Harashina as an assistant director. Tomohiro Suzuki is handling the series composition, while Maru Takase, Yuri Fujinaka, and Keisuke Kojima are doing the character designs. Evan Call is also returning to compose the music. Meanwhile, Season 1 director Keiichiro Saito is taking a step back and will take on a director cooperation role.
