Frieren: Beyond Journey's End Announces Season 3 for October 2027
Season 3 of Frieren: Beyond Journey's End has been announced for an October 2027 release date with a teaser visual, following today's finale of the second season. The new season will cover "The Golden Land" arc and center around Macht, one of the Demon King's Seven Sages of Destruction.

Tomoya Kitagawa directed Season 2 at studio MADHOUSE, with Daiki Harashina as an assistant director. Tomohiro Suzuki was in charge of the series composition, while Maru Takase, Yuri Fujinaka, and Keisuke Kojima did the character designs. Evan Call is returning to compose the music. Season 1 director Keiichiro Saito was credited for cooperation.
The first season of the adaptation was also animated by MADHOUSE, and it premiered in 2023, quickly becoming one of the top titles of the year. Keichiro Sato directed it, and the staff also included:

The anime adapts the Frieren: Beyond Journey's End manga written by Kanehito Yamada and drawn by Tsukasa Abe. The manga began serialization in Shogakukan's Weekly Shonen Magazine in 2020 and is still ongoing.
