Fate/Samurai Remnant Manga Begins Serialization

The Fate/Samurai Remnant manga adaptation, illustrated by Mugetsu, will begin serialization on the Type-Moon Comic Ace website starting July 28. The manga was first announced by Comptiq Magazine in August 2024.

Fate/Samurai Remnant is a 2023 action RPG published by Koei-Tecmo and produced by Omega Force, best known for their work on the Dynasty Warriors franchise and subsequent “Warriors” tie-in games such as Hyrule Warriors and Fire Emblem: Warriors.

Fate/Samurai Remnant follows an alternate timeline Holy Grail War, named the “Waxing Moon Ritual,” and is set shortly after the end of the Sengoku period. The game follows a fictionalized version of real-world samurai Miyamoto Iori as he becomes a Master of Saber. Legendary samurai and strategist Miyamoto Musashi also appears as an energetic female Berserker.

Fate/Samurai Remnant’s manga will be illustrated by Mugetsu, who previously worked on Fate/Grand Order: Holy Grail Front, has provided artwork for Fate/Grand Order, and illustrated a prequel manga to Fate/Samurai Remnant.
