Fandango Announces Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle as the 'Best First Day-Ticket Pre-Seller Anime Film'
Movie ticketing service Fandango has announced that Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle is the platform’s best first-day ticket pre-seller for an anime film of all time. Ticket selling went live in the U.S. on August 15, and has officially surpassed the records of Kimetsu no Yaiba - The Movie: Mugen Train (2021) and Jujutsu Kaisen 0 (2022) during its first 24 Hours of coordinated on-sale.
Jerramy Hainline, Executive Vice President of Fandango, shared some thoughtful comments on the news:
“We are blown away by the sheer excitement for the arrival of Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle through the number of tickets sold in its first day. The overwhelming response is a true testament to the power of the anime community, and we are so proud to help bring anime into theaters so fans can experience it on the big screen."
Demon Slayer: Kimetsu no Yaiba Infinity Castle, the first feature film in the three-part cinematic trilogy representing the final battle of the hugely popular, award-winning anime shonen series from famed animation studio ufotable and manga author Koyoharu Gotoge, will come to theatres in the United States on September 12, 2025, distributed by Crunchyroll and Sony Pictures Entertainment.
Additionally, the movie will also be opening an early subscriber screening on September 9th. Tickets are available on the Fandango website, together with the full list of participating theatres. The film will be available in Japanese with English subtitles and dubbed in English.
