ELLEGARDEN Releases Music Video for One Piece Opening Theme “Carmine”

ELLEGARDEN has just released the official music video for their latest song, “Carmine,” on August 17. The song is also the band's first song written specifically for an anime, serving as the opening theme for the TV anime One Piece.

In the music video, the scenes feature realistic concert scenes, brought to life with the help of about 300 fans who appeared as extras. The track is their first new release in about three years, following their sixth album, The End of Yesterday (2022). See the video below:

ONE PIECE is a manga series by Eiichiro Oda. It began serialization in Shuiesha's Weekly Shonen Jump on July 22, 1997, followed by an anime adaptation by Toei Animation in 1999.  The second season of the ONE PIECE live-action is expected to be released in 2025. Netflix is also working on a reboot anime with WIT Studio.

Now over 25 years, the franchise has grown to encompass 15 feature films, numerous video games, a trading card game, and an ever-expanding catalog of licensed merchandise and location-based entertainment. To celebrate the day that it was serialized, the annual super-sized "ONE PIECE DAY" event is held by Bandai Co., Ltd., Shueisha's Inc.and Toei Animation Inc..
