Chainsaw Man Reveals Compilation Movie Release Date and Chainsaw Days Anime Stills

The two-part Chainsaw Man compilation movie, including brand-new Chainsaw Biyori animated shorts, will be released on September 12 and will be streaming worldwide. Chainsaw Biyori (Chainsaw Days) is an adaptation of bonus pages from the original manga that were not included in the TV anime.

The compilation movies will be streaming on Crunchyroll with English subtitles in North America, Central America, South America, Europe, Africa, Oceania, the Middle East, and CIS (subtitles will only be available at launch) in September. In Japan, the compilation movies will have a special early premiere on September 5 on streaming services. The staff for the Chainsaw Man compilation movie includes:

The information was released alongside an IMAX visual for the upcoming Chainsaw Man: Reze Arc movie, which premieres in Japan on September 19. Studio MAPPA is returning to animate, after previously working on the first season of the Chainsaw Man adaptation under Ryu Nakayama’s direction. Tatsuya Yoshihara is directing the movie, with Kazutaka Sugiyama as the character designer and Kiyotaka Oshiyama, who is credited for creature designs. Kensuke Ushio is composing the music.

The Chainsaw Man anime is adapting the manga by Tatsuki Fujimoto, currently serialized on the Shonen Jump+ platform. The series was initially launched in the Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2018. In English, it's available on the MANGA Plus app, with VIZ Media publishing the volumes.
