Blue Orchestra Season 2 Reveals Trailer
The Blue Orchestra Season 2 revealed a trailer earlier today and an October 5 premiere date in Japan. Studio Nippon Animation is animating. The second season is slated to have 21 episodes.
The anime recently confirmed an October premiere with a new key visual.
Seiji Kishi is directing the second season of Blue Orchestra anime with Yuko Kakihara on the series composition. Kazuki Morita is in charge of the character designs. Kanako Hara and Akira Kosemura are composing the music. Satoki Iida is the sound director.
Blue Orchestra is based on a manga by Makoto Akui, serialized on Shogakukan’s Shogakukan's Ura Sunday website and MangaONE app since April 2017. A total of 12 volumes are currently out. The manga has not been licensed in English yet.
The story follows Hajime Aono, who spent his childhood playing the violin but eventually started feeling the burnout. Without knowing what to do with his life, he reaches middle school and meets Ritsuko Akine. Akine's dream is to get into a high school with a good music club, and Aono soon finds himself getting drawn in.
The anime hasn't been licensed overseas.
