Black Clover Season 2 Unveils Main Visual
Season 2 of the Black Clover anime revealed a main visual ahead of the world premiere of the first episode at Anime Expo 2026. The anime will begin airing in October 2026. As previously announced, the sequel will be animated by studio Pierrot. Ayataka Tanemura is directing.

Yuki Tabata's Black Clover manga began serialization in Shueisha's Weekly Shonen Jump magazine in 2015. In 2023, the manga went on hiatus before returning in Jump GIGA magazine in December of that year.
The manga received an anime adaptation by studio Pierrot, which ran for 170 episodes from 2017 to 2021. The first season was followed by a Black Clover: Sword of the Wizard King original movie.

In a world where magic is everything, Asta and Yuno are both found abandoned at a church on the same day. While Yuno is gifted with exceptional magical powers, Asta is the only one in this world without any. At the age of fifteen, both receive grimoires, magic books that amplify their holder’s magic. Asta’s is a rare Grimoire of Anti-Magic that negates and repels his opponent’s spells.
