Bandai Opens Closed Beta Test Applications for Digimon Alysion Mobile Game

Bandai Card Games has announced the official opening of applications for its closed beta test of Digimon Alysion. This highly anticipated mobile game, that is under development for Android and iOS devices, will be accepting applications via the official website until Sunday, August 3, 2025 at 1:59 AM UTC.

A total of 10,000 player spots are available for the closed beta test. If the number of applicants exceeds this number, testers will be chosen at random. The game will be free-to-play with in-app purchases. Digimon Alysion will introduce new cards designed specifically for the online game.

Last year the Digimon franchise celebrated the 25th anniversary of the Digimon anime. Digimon Alysion was initially announced in March during the Digimon Con 2025 live stream event. It is the first time the Digimon Card Game is coming to smartphones.

This game is the newer part of the Digimon franchise that started in 1997 with the Digital Monster (Digimon) LCD toy. The franchise was expanded with Digimon anime series that started in 1999, along with the console game Digimon Story. Since then, it has gained popularity all over the world.

The game is set in the same world as Digimon Liberator the comic and novel. However, it will feature a new original story with new characters and Digimon, along with "all-new, never seen before evolution lines called 'digivolution' paths."
