Angels of Delusions Make Their Debut in Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.6

The anticipated arrival of the idol group Angels of Delusion (AOD) is finally happening in Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.6 "Encore for an Old Dream", releasing on the 6th of February.

As peace returns to Waifei Peninsula after the disaster in Lemnian Hollow, New Eridu prepares to welcome the annual celebration of the "Gilded Carrot Day." Along with this, S-rank agents Sunna and Aria will be introduced. See the Zenless Zone Zero Version 2.6 "Encore for an Old Dream" trailer:

HoYoverse describes the new update as an event where music and dreams unfold. As New Eridu and Sixth Street adorn a new, colorful, and festive theme, the Proxy Siblings prepare to kick back, relax, and enjoy the celebrations. However, a new urgent commission interrupts their plans and pulls them into a partnership with Jane Doe on the trail of a rogue Intelligent Entity. Meanwhile, Angels of Delusions plan their first live performance in Error 404 music Venue on Sixth Street under the guidance of their mysterious vocal coach.

The music festival introduces two new S-rank agents. Sunna is a Physical Support agent and the composer for the AOD. She shines in her role when supporting both Attack and Anomaly agents. During combat, Sunna's attacks allow her trusty companion Bubblegum to inflict Cat's Gaze status on the target.

When an Attack or an Anomaly teammate lands an attack on that target, the Cat's Gaze will detonate, dealing damage and granting powerful attack buffs to the party. She's a character who prefers to support from the back and help her bubbly little friend with all adversaries.

Meanwhile, Aria is the AOD Vocalist and an Ether Anomaly agent who likes to take her enemies head-on. She can use heavy attacks to inflict Attribute Anomalies and deal massive bursts of damage to her opponents using her special basic attack, Perfect Pitch. Holding her basic allows her to charge it up to 3 stages, unleashing a powerful attack. A fully charged attack will trigger Abloom when it hits an enemy inflicted with an Attribute Anomaly, and her damage will be further enhanced if she hits a Stunned enemy.

Furthermore, Aria can generate Fandom Power using her EX Special and Additional Ability, summoning small, bubbly cat fans around the field, which can be absorbed as she performs her Basic hold to speed it up significantly.

The idol group leader, Nangong Yu, will not be joining her two friends on the stage just yet; in her place, though, is the S-rank Bangboo Biggest Fan. True to its name, Biggest Fan will join the team and passionately wave around its little lightsticks to provide its idols support, both morally and by granting them an attack buff and steadily restoring their HP.

Sunna will be making her appearance in the early half of the update, alongside the rerun banner for High Preceptor Yixuan. Aria will follow in the second half together with the rerun banner for Spookshack member Yuzuha. Additionally, both Sunna and Aria will be receiving new outfits to commemorate their debut.

And continuing with the trend of older agents receiving some love, Lycaon and Harumasa will receive their enhancements through the new Potential Vision enhancement system. Lycaon gains a new ability to stay on the field to provide support for the active team member with coordinated new attacks, while Harumasa will be getting enhanced new abilities, improving both his stats and damage output.

Lastly, there will be plenty of cool new events and rewards awaiting the proxies in the upcoming version:

• A special Inter-Knot Membership that grants daily rewards for daily login up to 3300 polychromes
• From the 14th to the 23rd of February, the festive event "Gilded Surprise, Wonderful Boo-ns" invites players to log in daily for lucky draws, with a chance to share in a massive four billion Polychrome prize pool
• For those who missed their chance to log in for its previous Version, Zhao will still be available for free pick up during the version 2.6 update as well
• Senior Pan Yinhu will be receiving a new outfit, which will be available for free as part of the new version's limited-time event
