AmaLee, Kuro, 4 Others Join Ironmouse in Leaving VShojo
Just a day after VTuber Ironmouse left the VShojo agency, six more VTubers have departed VShojo in a series of scathing public statements. In an 11-minute stream on July 21, Ironmouse claimed she was owed an undisclosed amount of personal funds, along with US$500,000 for the Immune Deficiency Foundation.
Among those leaving the agency is VTuber and anime voice actress AmaLee, best known for her performances as Marin Kitagawa in My Dress-Up Darling and Ai Hayasaka in Kaguya-sama: Love is War. AmaLee, also known by her VTuber identity of Monarch, had only joined VShojo in January.
As of today I will be terminating my contract with VShojo effective immediately and I will be returning to being an independent VTuber and content creator. Nothing about my content will change, as I was indie for 18 years before signing with VShojo, and I retain my IP. My love…

VTuber Kuro announced they had already submitted their resignation over a week before Ironmouse's departure, saying, "I guess I’m an indie now."
i didnt want to say anything until its finalized but since people keep making assumptions, no i am not staying here ive already submitted a leave contract and had that meeting 11 days ago

the only reason i still have the vshojo brand logo on here still is because they have to…
ProjektMelody also announced her departure, 15 hours after posting that she "felt sick" after the allegations were announced.
I waited to make a statement, cuz I'm always anxious & struggle to find my words.

But, yes, i'm leaving vshojo.
I was an OG talent, put my everything into this comp. But I'm beyond devastated at what happened. & I never in a million years thought I'd be saying these words. 💔
Hime Hajime confirmed her departure and changed her handle on X (formerly Twitter) to "@HeemHajeem" (from "@HimeHajime_VSJ").
I can confirm I have also quit VShojo. These past few years I got to meet and befriend some amazing people but I can no longer be part of the company

Meanwhile, streamer Kson left VShojo during a livestream in which the CEO of VShojo Japan, Koshi Makino, admitted that money owed to Ironmouse "may have been used for operational costs." Makino explained that funds are combined for Japanese and English talent. Additionally, Kson alleged she was owed money back to October 2024.
The JP VShojo CEO believes that the owed money to Ironmouse "may have been used for operational costs." This is getting more insane bro😭 How can you just leave your massive talent in the dark about how her charity money is being spent😭 https://t.co/H1PHOzJhVm pic.twitter.com/XDLFHHHXBH

At the time of writing, VShojo's English team, including CEO Justin Ignacio, has not responded to any allegations.
