AlphaPolis Acquires Studio White Fox
Publishing company AlphaPolis announced that it has acquired studio WHITE FOX by purchasing all of its shares, making the studio its wholly owned subsidiary. According to the official announcement, the acquisition is expected to accelerate the animation of AlphaPolis' IP further and "attract new fans, including those in overseas markets, through high-quality animation."
AlphaPolis is a publishing company from Japan, founded in 2000. Initially focusing on online content, AlphaPolis' first light novel title was Gate in 2010. Since then, they have published titles such as Re:Monster, Tsukimichi: Moonlit Fantasy, May I Ask for One Final Thing?, The Unaware Atelier Master, and more.
Studio WHITE FOX was founded in 2007 by Gaku Iwasa. The studio is known for Steins;Gate, Akame Ga Kill!, Is the Order a Rabbit?, Girls' Last Tour, Re:Zero − Starting Life in Another World, and more. This season, they are working on the Uglymug, Epicfighter anime adaptation. In 2018, WHITE FOX partnered with production and planning company EGG FIRM and jointly invested in Studio Bind.
