Akari Minase Joins Kaiju No.8 The Game This Festive Season
Akari Minase is joining Santa Narumi in the Kaiju No.8 THE GAME festive event. Minase, who is the first 5-star Fire Attacker, is coming with a new five-star weapon, the AR-Xmas (Assault Rifle).

Minase is yet another strong character dispatched by the Third Division to assist the First Division's Christmas event. With her warm, bright smile and her animated gestures, she is great with the children. But, behind the gleeful personality is a secret.
In battle, after activating her Combat Skill, Follow-Up Skill, or Ultimate Skill, there’s a chance she’ll apply the Burn status. With her Combat Skill, she can apply a Damage over Time (DoT) multiplier buff, which can strengthen the Burn status effect even more.
*The DoT multiplier buff can accumulate up to 3 stacks max, and can put enemies into a state where they will take DoT damage, such as Burn, every time they receive an attack."
