A Tale of the Secret Saint Reveals Key Visual, Additional Cast
A Tale of the Secret Saint anime revealed the first key visual and the additional cast members. The anime will premiere in October 2026; it was initially scheduled for April release date but got delayed. The new cast additions are:
- Yukari Tamura as Clarissa Abernethy
- Shun'ichi Toki as Enoch
- Daiki Yamashita as Fabian Wyner
- Miyuri Shimabukuro as Charlotte
They join the main cast that includes:
- Shion Wakayama as Fia Ruud
- Shinnosuke Tokudome as Zavilia
- Yuichiro Umehara as Saviz Nav
- Nobunaga Shimazaki as Cyril Sutherland
- Tasuku Hatanaka as Desmond Ronan
- Daiki Hamano as Zachary Townsend
- Tomokazu Sugita as Quintin Agata
Felix Film is animating the adaptation that is scheduled to premiere in the Fall 2026 anime season. Tomoe Makino is directing, with Deko Akao on the series composition, and Satomi Kurita on the series composition. Ken'ichiro Suehiro is composing the music.
The anime will adapt A Tale of the Secret Saint light novel series, written by Touya and illustrated by chibi, serialized by Earth Star Entertainment since 2019. The manga adaptation with art by Mahito Aobe has also been serialized since 2019 in Earth Star Entertainment's Comic Earth Star magazine.
Seven Seas licensed both the light novels and the manga and describes the plot as:
Born into a long line of knights, Fia is determined to become a knight herself, just like all her siblings. But a brush with death awakens memories of her past life as a Saint–a woman who wields rare, powerful healing and protection magic–along with the ability to use that magic herself! The downside is that Fia also remembers her past life’s untimely death, and the danger she will be in if anyone finds out what she really is.
